ABOUT
Hi, I’m Fiona — a photographer with a background in art and a deep love of beauty in the everyday.
Originally from Scotland, I moved to Tacoma, Washington after marrying my husband Peter. My creative roots run deep: I studied History of Art at university and later taught art, design, and photography. These days, I channel that passion into my work — drawn to quiet moments, thoughtful design, and the stories people leave behind in light, space, and detail.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me on a long walk with a podcast in my ears (bonus points if it ends at a botanical garden or along the water), playing Monopoly Deal (a daily ritual), or catching up with close friends over good food. I’m deeply grateful for my community — church, old friends from back home, colleagues — they shape how I see the world and how I capture it.
My style is shaped by simplicity, strong composition, and the quiet beauty of ordinary things. I’m drawn to clean lines, intentional stillness, and moments or objects that feel familiar yet visually striking — often inspired by Scandinavian design, thoughtful branding, and art.
At the heart of my work is curiosity, connection, and a love for the small, intentional details that make life beautiful. If that resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.
